About the Author

Cari lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She enjoys almost every kind of music, especially Vonda Shepard and "Rent". She also plays the piano and the violin.

Cari has been writing for as long as she can remember, although most of her stories "pretty much sucked" before she began middle school, which inevitably led to depression and an indentity crisis. She often writes because, "Everything else I have in my room to occupy myself gets old really fast, and there's just nothing else to do. Besides, I often lock myself in for days at a time."

When she isn't writing or at church, Cari can usually be found on the internet. She enjoys chatting, e-mail, and staring mindlessly at the computer screen.

Favorite pastimes include: Drinking coffee, wandering aimlessly through her neighborhood mumbling, sleeping, saying "la la la", and playing "criminal court" with her stuffed animals.

Addictions: Caffiene, music, ice cream, hair gel, chocolate, and expensive soap.
